Rule 30
Provisions relating to perpetuity and instrumentality
(1) If the office head of various offices of the Nepali Army is vacant and the daily work of the office is hindered, the office may be employed on a permanent basis.
(2) According to this rule, when the permanent position is revoked, the senior military person of one level below will be revoked.
(3) Any military person who has permanent residence status shall be entitled to exercise all the rights of the higher level. But it is not allowed to use upper level Dzryani symbol.
(4) If the head of the office is absent due to any reason, the most senior military person of the same office shall act as a substitute for that position for a period not exceeding one month.
(5) If he has worked as a permanent or temporary employee for a period of more than fifteen days, he will receive salary and allowance for the entire period of the position for which he has worked as a permanent or temporary employee.
(6) The transfer and promotion officer as per Rule 29 and 34 shall have the authority to decide on permanent tenure.
